| It is not the easiest to pack your cloths before leaving for a holiday to somewhere new. While getting ready to go on holidays there are some basic items that you need to remember.
1. Appropriate Identification: With heightened security these days it is important to use a passport and photo ID. Also make sure you have proper ID for any minors traveling under your care.
2. Birth Control: Well... If you think you will be getting lucky on your holidays you should bring condoms.
3. Appropriate Clothing: Even though the tropics are hot but if a tropical storm sweeps in it can get super chilly, quickly Be sure to bring dependable running shoes, long pants and a long sleave shirt.
I think it is better to bring less, if possible, You just don't know when you will need to carry your luggage. Several changes of cloths will be enough.
4. Protection from the Sun: SPF 35 and no less. Any less and you stand to get a sun burn. What ever sunscreen you buy it should also contain either zinc oxide or titanium oxide.
Before departing on your trip it is wise to visit a studio for tanning. It is important to build a good base to resist the intense sun in the tropics.
5. Medical supplies: Bringing any prescribed medicine but it may be wise to also bring things like Pain relief medicine, Pepto Bismal and other everyday hygene products.
Be sure to carry any medicine in the original container and the prescription too.
Enjoying your trip to the tropics can be determined by the items that you bring. If you forget an item that is important to your trip it can cause you to have less of a good time. If the item is critical to your health then it can be a threatening situation.
Make a list several weeks before hand of the items that you will need to bring with you. This way you will be able to remember all the little things that you might need while away. |
