| Sometimes it is not easy to pack your cloths for a location that is different. If you are preparing to go on holidays there are some basics you should bring.
1. Proper Identification: With better security screening since 9/11 it is very important to have a passport and photo ID. It is also important to have identification for your kids as well.
2. Condoms: Well... If there is a chance you will be getting in the sack on vacation you had better bring contraceptives.
3. The Right Clothing: Although cancun are hot and humid but if a rain storm comes in it can get super cool, fast. Always bring good shoes, pants and a long sleave shirt.
I believe it is makes more sense to pack light, You just don't know when you will need to carry your luggage through the airport. Several changes of cloths will be enough.
4. Sunscreen: SPF 20 at the minimum. Use a lower number and you stand to get a sunburn. A sunscreen must also contain either zinc oxide or titanium oxide.
About 4 weeks before going to somewhere hot it is a good idea to spend some time in a tanning bed. This will help build a good base to stand up to the intense sun of a tropical location.
5. Medical products: Of course you should bring any prescribed medicine but it may be wise to also bring things like Pain medcine, Pepto Bismal and other pharmacy items.
It is a good idea have any medication in the original package and carry copies of your prescription as well.
Enjoying your trip to the tropics can be determined by the items that you bring. If you forget an item that is important to your trip it can cause you to have less of a good time. If the item is critical to your health then it can be a threatening situation.
Make a list several weeks before hand of the items that you will need to bring with you. This way you will be able to remember all the little things that you might need while away.
